Community centre Het Dok

Community centre Het Dok is the beating heart of Lewenborg. Various organizations have their home base there and a wide variety of activities are organized.
In De Vlootschouw, the large hall of Het Dok, Gert Sennema creates a light sculpture with his workshop group on Friday mornings.

Community center De Sint Jan

Community centre De Sint Jan is a multifunctional community centre on the east side of the city centre. Various organizations are located upstairs in the building, the living room and hall downstairs are used by the BoBo (Residents Organization City Centre East) and rented out for various activities.
In the living room, Rob van der Hoeven creates a light sculpture with his workshop group on Monday evenings.

The Oude RKZ

The Oude RKZ (Roman Catholic Hospital) is a residential and commercial building that has various studios, workshops and practice rooms. The Oude RKZ also houses a cinema, a pub, a concert hall and an exhibition space.
In the MIME Hall (the former staff canteen of the hospital), Caroline van de Meent and Karel Buskes create a light sculpture with their workshop group on Saturday afternoons.

Doedertoe

The Doedertoe foundation is located on Travertijnstraat, in what used to be CSG De Vinckenborgh. A place where creativity can fully flourish. The space is made available by Carex. Doedertoe is a social enterprise that runs on social impact and gives shape to an economy of giving and sharing. This initiative is mainly about warming hearts and bringing joy.
In our Doedertoe workshop, Miriam Knibbeler creates a light sculpture on Monday evenings with her workshop group .
